Looking for an article from "Electronics World" June 199604 Aug 2008 15:38 GMT7
In the TV and Monitor Deflection Systems part of this group's FAQ there is a
suggestion to read an article by David Sharples from the June 1996 edition
of the magazine Electronics World. Would anybody here have a copy of this
they could scan?

Need Altec Lansing ACS340 power supply help03 Aug 2008 04:17 GMT2
Just bought a late 1990's Altec Lansing ACS340 computer speaker system
(2 satellites and 1 subwoofer) and need to find a workable AC/DC adapter
solution for it. It requires a 13v 4a adapter which is common, but uses
an uncommon round multi pin connector. Anyone have a schematic ...

fixed it!02 Aug 2008 21:14 GMT5
So, you scroll through the CC options until you get to CC Off, as you

My Fluke 123 Scopemeter has developed both horizontal and vertical

I called Fluke, they made it sound like a common problem, but their
base bench fee is $552.00 for repair.  Any ideas?

I am working on this LCD computer monitor. It trys to power up,
flickers and then the backlite goes out. The display seems to
still be there so its a back lite issue.
Took the inverter out. ESR'ed the 100/25 caps. They seem to be OK.

Coiled (Rectractile) Coax01 Aug 2008 11:57 GMT2
Hello, all.  I would like to replace the probe cable on a portable Geiger

but the GM counter originally was supplied with a coiled cable (the ...
Water Flow Meter01 Aug 2008 11:11 GMT11
Does anyone know where to get a water flow meter that will close or open a
switch when water is flowing? I have an AC unit that uses water to cool

Source of small pot knobs - UK ?01 Aug 2008 07:53 GMT7
The small ones found on audio mixers , especially for the small slplined
shaft ones of about 4.6mm. A nice random selection would be nice , to match
up for missing ones.
Just a brand name or generic term for them would help googling.
