I've a stereo receiver / cassette / turntable SABA model CT-9810. It
always had a problem with its digital volume control not allowing low
volume levels. It has 16 levels of volume and the first level, the
lowest one sounds like normal volume, second is quite high and higher

Absolutely nothing on the display, even in darkened room at switch off.
PDA/EHT of 7.2 KV and voltages at the CRT base of -1100 to -1750
Heater continuity . Extremely good blanking.

Blows mains fuses. Ashdown supplied replacement fuses to the owner, better
than FOAD I suppose. Survives long enough for the meter lamp to come on half
a second. Nothing found obviously suspect in ps or pa probing around cold
and inspection. Not looked at prea yet. Will power up on ...
