This receiver supports a Dish remote control that transmits IR(line of sight) and UHF(through the walls). It's definitely a fault in the receiver with UHF reception. IR works fine and I've tried different remotes. It won't even work with the remote inches

In the process of trying to determin if my power supply is defective, or the video board on an LCD TV. I checked the voltage output pins and found the 5 volts stand by voltage was working fine, but nevertheless the set does not turn on.

Anyone know where to find the foam material that is used for filters. The kind you would use behind computer fans and the like to catch dust. I need to make some custom filters for a few 120mm fans, Is there some place that sells it by the sheet or rolls?

I have a Sony Betamax VCR Model # Sl-S600 that has a dead capstan motor. Everything else is working. The unit loads the cassette and loads the tape around the head drum. the head motor is turning also.
