I have a need for a power meter for general low band and VHF work. I
would like it to have at least two scales. One,  a 0 - 10 W or so
scale and if possible another which would enable it to measure up to
around 125 W as well. The immediate need to satisfy the requirements

Need help with Compact Fluorescent
for California Home
Our vanity bathroom has a 26W  Nutone Compact Fluorescent 2 pin
light / with fan - ceiling light.

What voltage is supplied by the satellite receiver to a Direct TV
antenna?  I need to provide the same voltage to something else.
Or should I just start somewhere and work my way up until there is
antenna output?  6 volts?, 9 volts? X volts?   DC, I suppose, not AC.

indoor however while not raining/cold outside I should be able to use

Someone has the cross reference to replace the transistor originally

I'm servicing a Canton AS 80 SC powered subwoofer. I replaced the power

The Mits hsu790 vcr from the remote appears to be the type where one remote
can control two vcr's of that type (vcr-a vcr-b).
Problem is, how do you get one of them to use the "b" side?
I know some other makes you either need to hold a key down on the remote

I have what appears to be a thermo intermittent problem in my old TV. I'd

I got a VCR that was in a house fire, and it's video drum has smoke
damage.
It doesn't feel smooth, but isn't rough enough to where it seems to be
damaging tapes.  Matter of fact, it records and plays just fine.
