| Follow-up on What is this? | 20 Apr 2008 22:50 GMT | 3 |
What voltage is supplied by the satellite receiver to a Direct TV antenna? I need to provide the same voltage to something else. Or should I just start somewhere and work my way up until there is antenna output? 6 volts?, 9 volts? X volts? DC, I suppose, not AC.

I recently bought an Adesso RF wireless keypad, http://www.adesso.com/products_detail.asp?productid=281 . Although its claims of 100' range are wildly optimistic, the keyboard generally works well. The main complaint I have is with its Synaptic brand touchpad. Like

| mits hs-u790 vcr remote question | 17 Apr 2008 17:20 GMT | 5 |
The Mits hsu790 vcr from the remote appears to be the type where one remote can control two vcr's of that type (vcr-a vcr-b). Problem is, how do you get one of them to use the "b" side? I know some other makes you either need to hold a key down on the remote

I got a VCR that was in a house fire, and it's video drum has smoke damage. It doesn't feel smooth, but isn't rough enough to where it seems to be damaging tapes. Matter of fact, it records and plays just fine.
