Loss of reverb effects. But of course when I try it all present and correct.

I got a TV from somebody, a Sony KV-32WS3D (chassis AE-3)
The upper corners are very colored, see this picture from a teletext
page which should only contain the colors white and blue:

on this unit fades badly over time and the inverter is also prone to
failure, so I sometimes need to fix them. Not only that, but EL backlit

I need to replace the 80mm DC Fan in the PSU of my computer.  The
label on the broken fan show 0.25A.  Do I need to replace it with a
fan that has the same spec?  I notice that many similar fans seem to
be 0.08A or similar.  I'm also curious to know what the 0.25A means?

I have a new Lexus 400h and live a distance away from the FM stations I like
to listen to. Reception is very poor very dependent on direction of vehicle.
I blame the window antenna. Would I be better off with a whip antenna?

This thing has performed flawlessly for many years, but when I turned it on
today something was not right. The ohms range flickers random readings, with
no probes plugged in I get around 230K on the display, or 2.22M, depending
on the range, which would imply that the problem is ...

What is the purpose of the small neon bulb by the flyback on older TVs? (I haven't noticed it in any modern tvs.)
