I have now updated my website to include the experience of repairing a

LCD is replacing CRT. This happens in my company also.
My company has been buying LCD monitors to replace the CRT monitors,
in stages. When old CRT dies, we replace it with an LCD. No problem
there.

OK, I have 2 Toshiba 9" TV/DVDs. One (brand new, ebay, $20)had a gassed
CRT, so I took the tube out of the other one (ebay, $1, scratched up
case) which worked perfectly. The first one works fine with the replaced
tube. Now 1 1/2 years later, I buy a "new" CRT, (ebay) same part#, ...

I need a screen control for Sony KV35V36,How do I go about getting one?

A little OT as I'm not actually trying to repair this set, rather draw on
the experience of others who've had experience with similar Sharp sets to
identify the SST 37VF010 chip.
The chip had a paper label stuck on it suggesting factory
