I have a D board out of a 36"sony that has defective chips. One of
these was evidently replaced by someone else at some point. There are
two chips on this board. One is a DB and the other is a D. Is there
any difference between the two? Also my distributor has original Sony

Got a GE 4.8A clothes dryer motor here which emitted some smoke one day
shortly after powering it up.  I've been using this blower assembly for
solder fume extraction from my bench, so it had no drum loading the
motor down.

Hi, We have a sony trinitron 13 inch kv-13fs110 and the tv does'nt

I am trying to repair a Toshiba SD-3900 DVD Player.  Power light (on/
standby) light comes one when depressed; LED panel never lights up and
none of the functions work.  Power supply appears to be okay.  Any
suggestions?

Anyone know off the top of their head, or have the manual to check what the
correct bias figure for a Rotel RB970BX Mk II is ? Working along the lines
of the 'standard' 20mA figure (about 5mV across the TPs which are across a
0.22 ohm emitter resistor) the output stages idle ...

I have a strange problem on my Kenwood receiver.
When I set the source to FM radio, I have no sound from the speakers
anymore. When I set the source to AM, or to CD or TAPE I do have
sound. So only FM is not working.

I dont know what went wrong but the center and surround speakers on my

Ok, found my fathers ooolllddd CD player in the attic, and wanted to
use it.
It uses the KSS-210 laser, but it just won't budge..  At first, it
played a CD, but sounded very scratchy, then it gave up and said "NO

This is a Presario 1200 series.  It works fine in every other respect
but not only does the battery not charged or recognized, there is no
evidence that the OS even knows this is a laptop with a battery.
Device Manager has no entry for battery management and the "Power Options"

I am trying to repair a Sylvania SRC2019AC 19" TV/VCR
I have searched and the repair manual is no longer available online.
Also, the usual buttons on a TV showing horizontal, vertical, bright,
dim and so on do not exist on this TV.
