I appreciate that this will of course vary from manufacturer to
manufacturer, but in general terms can someone give the approximate
voltage?  I'm curious because I'm getting a "glow" from the outer
metal casing of a SCART lead connector on several pieces of

Marshall "1962" from 199310 Dec 2007 10:22 GMT5
Working order but for bad pot, but some things are not pucker.
One of the dual 50uF, 500V can caps has a dent, obviously not causing a
problem but leave as is, replace or try "panel-beating" outwards with some
jubillee clips and leather circumferential compression or some other
TFT backlight shuts off after 2 seconds..10 Dec 2007 09:40 GMT9
I have a more than one tft screen where the backlight shuts off after
~2 seconds. By turning the monitor off and on again I get the
backlight to work for another 2s.
The screen functionality for the TFT matrix seems ok. And because the
KAC-X201T bias voltage problems09 Dec 2007 23:47 GMT2
I'm having issues setting the bias voltage for the right channel.  The
service manual says to set it to 2.5mVDC.  I can set the left channel
with no problem, but the right channel drifts badly with warming
up/cooling down etc.  The left channel drifts around 2.1-2.8mV whether

read before the equipment cost anywhere from about $150.00 and up and
HELP!!!!  TRIPPED OVER POWER SUPPLY!!!!09 Dec 2007 16:05 GMT33
I have a two year-old Yamaha P-90 and I occasionally trip over the
power supply line.  It only happens four times a year or something, so
I've really never thought anything of it.
Today, however, the keyboard wouldn't turn back on when reconnected!!

Problem with new Insignia TV09 Dec 2007 14:29 GMT24
Yesterday, I purchased an Insignia NS-F24TV 24" CRT television from
BestBuy. http://tinyurl.com/2hjzjq While the set is a cheap one, the
user ratings are quite high. After lugging it home and hooking it up, I
discovered a problem. All over-the-air and cable (analog) channels are
Problems diagnosing TV09 Dec 2007 13:55 GMT20
Kind folks,
I'm having a hard time trying to guess what's going wrong with our TV,
though, to be honest, I haven't yet cracked the sucker open because I'm
only home when the baby in the same room is trying to get to sleep. The

Servicing Customers09 Dec 2007 02:55 GMT10
Servicing customers can and has been a very rewarding experience. However,
in the past probably 3 to 5 years it seems that customers are becoming more
and more demanding and less and less informed.

Microchip 5751.08 Dec 2007 20:07 GMT2
Not exactly a repair question, but this group is a more likely place to find
someone who may have encountered the device I seek to identify.
Recently while plundering a scrap Toshiba laptop display for ceramic chip
caps, I spotted a small 4 pin device with the Microchip mark on it, ...
