Blocked jets on an Epson tylus color 80025 Oct 2007 03:50 GMT9
I know its not really worth the trouble but I recently picked up a load of
inks.
The previous owner, now throwing it out, had put the printer in the loft
when the black started running out a few years back.

Olevia 23224 Oct 2007 18:13 GMT1
Just purchased this 32" LCD for my bedroom. Works very well with DVD and
tuner but has a slight greenish cast on whites when used as a VGA
monitor. Color temp or tint settings in the TV do nothing. Gamma
adjustment on the PC do nothing. If I reduce the color saturation on the
Dlink DI-524 power/reset problem24 Oct 2007 16:51 GMT18
Apparently, this is fairly (relative?) common.  If there is a power
interruption that would result in a reset, or the power is turned off
for a moment, it requires 5-10 minutes before applying power to reset
properly.

For the people who f.ck with me24 Oct 2007 11:02 GMT27
OK, I have killed twelve people and never did a day in jail over it,
you want to f.ck with me, accuse me of not having street smarts ?
This is not a threat, it is an invitation to whatever you make it. You
come to me. What happens to you is, howevwer, your f.cking problem.

apparently are not manufactured/sold anymore), have reviewed
most of VCR repair FAQs, done most of things suggested there

Question about changing power supply for Sony FD Trintron KV32FS17 TV24 Oct 2007 04:06 GMT3
We have a Sony FD Trintron KV32FS17 TV which is giving us an error
code of 2 blinks *there is no video or audio, just the error code). We
have been advised that it signifies a short in the power supply
circuit and we need to change the power supply card.
Battery Tester24 Oct 2007 03:37 GMT9
Does anyone have a favorite battery tester that they would recommend?
Other than what Radio Shack sells I see little else available.
Thanks

Balance woes with an old receiver23 Oct 2007 22:07 GMT18
OK I'm trying to bridge the contacts where the balance knob used to be on a
Mitsubishi R11 receiver.  I've completed this operation successfully on a Sanyo
and it was quick and simple, but the Mitsubishi receiver is doing nothing but
confusing me.  The balance knobs on these old ...
Stainless Hardware Lesson23 Oct 2007 18:50 GMT9
I bought a used Hustler stainless steel ball mount with a spring at a
recent hamfest.  I installed it with a stainless steel Quick-Disconnect
(QD2) screwed into the top of the spring. I found that the spring was
extremely weak, and suspect it is not the original spring from ...

Updating old receivers to polarized plugs23 Oct 2007 18:05 GMT20
I was thinking about updating a vintage receiver to a polarized plug
and the convenience outlet on the back of the receiver.  I know, I
must have a lot of time on my hands.  Are polarized plugs worth it and
if so, how do I determine where to put the neutral?  Thanx.
MitsubishiVS-502R Convergence adjustment23 Oct 2007 14:32 GMT2
A recent problem I have encountered with this dinosaur of a TV,
(however it has worked wonderfully for many years) is the convergence
is obviously off.  One thing I noticed when the alignment crosshairs
are showing is the vertical line is off center from the screen.  It
