Anyone got a manual for a real old Sony receiver / amp STR434L, that they
could scan a section of for me ? I'm interested in the bit following the
tuner module, so IF strip, demodulators and stereo decoder up to system
function switch.

I know this is just a pc ps but I'd like to understand what is going on, or
not going on, even if not repaird.
There are 3 HF transformers and an opto-isolator bridging the HV and LV
sides.

I am getting ready to open up my finish basement walls and do a remodel.   I
was planning to just run CAT-5 (I prefer wired over wireless).  Is there
something else I need besides CAT-5?  Should I use CAT-6?
Is there any other technologies or other things I should consider?  Please ...

My Sony PVM-14M4U has recently started tearing horizontally most noticeably
along the edges of the raster. When I put it in the underscan mode, the image
displays with severe pincushioning. I'm also seeing the retrace lines at the
top of the raster in all 3 colors. The monitor is 10 ...

AVM-27D5 dead, at turn on, the degaussing relay just keeps clicking.
All standby voltages are ok, & nothings blown. Unload the 24 volts
SMPS secondary, then hook it up, & the set works.

The female end of my cable connector on my TV has gotten finicky and
doesn't do well with the typical F-type coaxial cable connector with
the narrow band for tightening that comes from my VCR.  The picture
occasionally goes out and wiggling it brings it back, temporarily.

Per the subject line or would like to talk to anyone who is familiar

i baught an old APPLE - MAC PLUS computer . i pluged it to 230 v ac .

I've just managed to get hold of a 'dead' Davis DLX10 DLP projector.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a service/repair manual for
this projector? I suspect it is a dead power supply. Anyone have any
