I've got a problem. A friend of mine managed to plug in the power supply
of his external harddrive upside down, which damaged both, harddrive and
usb-interface. Now I'm trying to repair at least the harddisk, which has
short-circuit in the 5V-supply-line, caused by a defective ...

My VS-4504R Mitsubishi won't move the red bar down unto the white
horizontal to make a nice white.  The verical is okay.  Is there an
adjustment on the circuit board or does the gun have adjustments?

   I have a Magnavox TV model RJ5540 AK01,  chassis 27G1-01AA
(mfg 04/89) in my shop that won't turn on.   Note: I do not have SM
(Photofact 2676).   Customer said it was hard to turn on and the problem
got worse over time.  Now it won't turn on.  The reg. B+ goes to 34V

2 of the same fan blowing air in over the heatsink but there is a noise like
a variable direction wind or slightly gusty wind as though one fan has a
bearing problem.
It would seem one fan is fighting the other to some extent, significant ? or

I have this model and have noticed that on warm up,
the picture will have a series of ghost images off to
the right of the first image that subsequently fade
out after about the 5th generation...

No movements or laser light , totally dead CD player. Just -- in the
display.
Function sw and door latch sw ok. Plenty of 5V etc supplies around on the
chippery. Crystal and ceramic resonator have oscillation.

I have been trying to materialize my (maybe wicked) ideas. I am trying
to use a broken tv and a spare monitor (LCD) to watch television. This
means that I use the reception print of the TV only, to convert the

I have a Sony Beta - SL-HF750
It plays the tape, I can hear sound when connecting the VCR to the TV
using RCA cables - but there is no picture.  All I get is a snowy
picture and Scrambled Lines if I choose Super Beta.

Hi...
I decided to check the idling current settings in a Denon AVR-3000. There is
a complicated process involving connecting a meter of test points,
adjusting intermediate voltage settings, then final settings of 3mv +/- .5mv
