Can anyone point me towards some websites which can be of
help when dealing with lcd monitor repair.
Schematics, panel reference lists, repair tips, troubleshooting...
Any help would be welcome as google wasn't so helpful.

I have a Teac AC-V3020 amp that a friend asked me to look at.  I used
to be pretty active on this forum but haven't done electronics work in
a while.  I'm hoping the great people here can advise me on this one.
The most obvious problem is that the amp seems to have no sound

Those usually 3-legged black blocks containing 2 PTC disc thermistors.
One of a few tens of ohms (cold) feeding to the coil and one of a few
hundred ohms (cold) connected between live and neutral , what is the
function of the one across the mains ?

hi there again!
I am repairing an old monitor (I was not able to get the serial). But
its oldy im sure. During power on, i feel a static at the front of the
monitor. An indication of a high voltage but after a few minutes, 4

getting an 875 VA 525 Watt "Geek Squad" model from Best Buy - yeah,

computer monitor. The other day, it fell off the top of a mini-tower

Just got a Kenwood KX-W8050 dual cassette deck off eBay that the
seller said had been tested and worked.  When it arrived (poorly
packed), Tape 1 didn't work at all--no motor sound, no play, record,

since a few days I have a problem with my TV set.
With  DVD or VHS playback in dark scenes there are stationary zebra-
like patterns of dark and light grey in B&W along the vertical sides
of the screen. In colour only the dark stripes are visible. No such
