When I try to turn on from standby the only response from the set is that
the standby light goes off, followed by a bird-like cheeping sound which
lasts 6 seconds when the set goes back to standby.
Any ideas?

I live in Saudi Arabia and have a Humax IRCI-5400Z satellite decoder
which has been connected to a Sony CRT television using the TV SCART

Every two weeks, the pressure gauge on our Vaillant ecoTech Plus keep
going down to zero and I have to top up the radiators with more water.
Our plumber has tightened a suspect leaking towel radiator but th
pressure still seems to gradually drop over two weeks.

After 25 years my ICF-C10W Dream Machine clock radio
has gone haywire.  Radio still works...clock module appears
to work but they both won't work at the same time...weird.
I'm looking for a service manual  and/or schematic.

my UPS-1400W sine wave inverter is not showing fully charged for past
week despite continuous charging.

I have two beta vcr's that both probably need a very good cleaning and
probably some minor part replacements. Anyone out there know of a good
repair shop that doesn't cost a fortune ?? Sam set me up with this, so

I have a weird problem with my 20" CRT monitor. Every now and then
(there are always some hours between the incidents), the picture gets
bigger (kinda like zooming in) and at the same time loses brightness.
This 'zooming process' lasts for about one second.

Everything else works OK on this, but the ESR test only displays
blinking 9's for any cap tested. Is this something I will have to send
out for repair, or does anyone here happen to have a fix for this?
