I have a minolta Dimage Z2.  During one of my trips, the lens cap fell
off and the camera lens had a deep scratch.  I am tempted to buy a
nonfunctioning camera for parts on ebay but I am not sure how easy it
is to dissassemble these digital cameras.  Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm trying to fix a Yaesu FT-221 VHF transceiver. The fault seems in

of the uA703HC (if amplifier?) and of the TA-7061AP (amplitude
limiter?) integrated circuits. I checked all other semiconductors with

One of my handheld flukes (77) now is reading about 2 ohms when its
leads are shorted on ohms scale. I tried another set of leads off of
another fluke, the same. I used test clips and bypassed the internal
protection fuses, the same. There was one pot by the display, did not

clicking on. The culprits were two AC muting transistors, Q503 and Q512,
which are activated from the CPU.
