My mate, an ex TV fixer, like myself, was given a Compaq 2500 notebook to repair. 'It's only the USB socket a bit loose' After dismantling (long time) the socket was soon resoldered.

I have never gotten much use from this Sony f340. So in excellent condition. The fault that has developed, I guess, maybe from not using it enough. Here is a tv screen picture of the fault, (heavy smearing to the right) which also makes the on screen display jump around.
