Marantz PM 5708 Jun 2007 01:36 GMT3
My IA drops out every once in awhile. I hear what sounds like a relay
clicking when this happens. I have the SM and it looks like it might
be the "Speaker Relay which is controlled be an IC and some components

I'd like to test it and see if it works. The connector has three blocks of

Pioneer CLD9507 Jun 2007 21:38 GMT1
I have a Pioneer CLD95 Laser Disc that seems to do everything but spin
the disc (any disc). It moves the laser and I can see the red dot but
using a IR tester shows no output from the laser. The ribbon cable is
in good shape. I do not have the service manual for it. Is there any
JVC television - foldover at top of screen07 Jun 2007 15:25 GMT9
I have JVC model AV-27920 television that goes back a few years.
A few months ago, I began having a problem at the top of the screen.
It's hard to describe, but it looks like to top part of the image is
folded over and displayed upside down.  I guess it looks like the

That is using non complementary pairs of N-channel,only, mosfets.
Can anyone direct me to a useful primer for such designs , with "bias" to
repair considerations, eg powering up suspect/half repaired such amps with
reduced power rail levels - what effects to expect or even if its ...
Reason for using A/C power adapters for telco equipment?07 Jun 2007 11:10 GMT15
What is the reason that many/most telco related equipment like analog

For period 1970 to 2000, whatever they are, they are not very common in
Europe. Coarser thread , diam for diam, than the usual European mm and BA.
Common sizes are about 0.132 in outside diam. , pitch 32 TPI, would they be

I have a Curtis Mathes TV model CM27001S (mfg. 11/01) in my

Kchibo KK-C55 radio - AM tuning steps wrong06 Jun 2007 19:37 GMT3
I purchased this radio at Sharper Image some time ago. It's great for

because of the 9 khz tuning steps which are used outside North
America. Even if you key in the correct frequency, the radio rounds up/

replacing TR601 on the power amplifier board. I'd like to be able to adjust
the bias and dc offset but since this amp has class A capabilities, there
