How to Convert Videos to fit my Zen Vision W Screen?

I just purchased a Sony vcr/dvd combo (model #slvd-370p).  I liked
this model because it allows my coaxial cable from my antenna to be
hooked up (yes, I still use an antenna).  The newer models of vcr/dvd
combos do not have this procedure.

I have been looking around on the net to find some info about
repairing an IPOD.  I have lots of friends with these so I was hoping
to find enough info to learn how to do these repairs.  I have my own

After 20+ years with the same sorry 27" Sharp CRT television, my wife & I
bought a Panasonic TH-58PX600OU 58" plasma HDTV.  I have read here and there
about the desirability of "breaking in" the screen, using lower than default
brightness settings, etc.  Is this really required?  ...
