My friend told me that AMD processors are better than intel processors
and I want to get a new system for myself.I dont know which to go for

My Pioneer home reciever will turn on but shuts off after 10-30
seconds. I was using it one day and I turned down the music cause I
was just testing the new speaker set-up I had just hooked up and about

I've got this Magnavox 15MF050V/17 LCD TV/VGA monitor.
Has two tuner modes AIR and CATV.  Has one RF input.
In Air mode, the setup mode automatically scans
the channels.  It properly recoginzes local VHF and UHF channels

TV was dead. Flashing front LED. Putting an extra load on the power
supply (100 W light bulb from B+ to ground) caused the TV to power up.
TV stayed on when the load was removed.
Re-soldered most of the power supply circuit. LED no longer flashes.

I just picked up a used hp 8505a. The CRT display is blank. I am looking
for advice on the order of testing. It has been years since I have done
any HV work. There is a possibility the tube itself is bad.

Ok this is some strange behaviour i have with my tv, when i turn it on
he doesnt turn on at that moment he starts to do something i dont get
what recharging something? The green light is blinking like it stuck
into something and then sometimes after 10 min he turns on and ...

I just recieved a cpu and mainboard after upgrading a friends
computer.
Upon inspection of my "new" board, I noticed many of the electrolytic
caps on the board were bloated and leaking. Just for fun, I salvaged

I have one of each. These are getting up in years; the HP has slots
for the additional font cartridges. I think they are PostScript
printers. They use the HP 92295A toner cartridge.

There is a row of eight dip switches on this board. I got it to work
in an old system I'm working on by changing what I think was the IRQ
setting. However it seems to be write protected and I can't figure it
out. Does anyone have any documentation on this board? Thanks. Lenny
