I need to replace a couple of motorola SRFE1164 transistor in a failed RF amplifier. There seem to be no trace of a datasheet for this transistor on the net (motorola is the best for unknown parts afaik). A search on google revealed that the MRF422 might be an equivalent

On some JVC DVD recorders there is an adapter plate which adapts the standard 40 pin IDE connector to a 40 pin FFC Ribbon cable. Any idea where to source these adapters ? Many thanks.

snap almost Cured the main troubles in valve preamp and amp, suspect EL84 and 2 badly soldered pcb wire links (lead free solder again, note only 2 or 3 years olkd) . But there is a low level throbbing rumble noise
