GUIDE PLUS --- Who's in charge?12 Apr 2007 23:17 GMT2
I have two RCA TVs, for years, with Guide Plus. About two weeks ago,
the Guide Plus on the 25" started to act flaky, not showing program
detail.  I went through the "99999" reset deal, etc.  Then we had a
black out for about 2 hours. Battery backups faded away.
Zen Micro MP3 - Cold Solder On Headphone Jack12 Apr 2007 20:03 GMT5
Hi. I have a Zen Micro MP3 player that has developed a cold solder
joint around the headphone jack (and possiblly also the USB jack). I
have read in other forums that this cold solder problem is notorious
for this particular player. The warranty is past due. The only
Sony tech: I need your help! KV36FS320 dead12 Apr 2007 17:37 GMT4
This Sony KV36FS320 will not power up, just 9 flashes of the standby/timer LED,

Q608 base drive for 1 second. Then the set will run and -everything- works
until I turn it off again. All standby supplies ...

Ran a little experiment on the GE microwave oven that has been vexing me per
my postings here a few days ago.  As you may recall this GE oven will
perform flawlessly with its control panel tilted out at about a 45 degree
angle, but shuts off after only a few seconds with the ...

Folks,
My searching on Google has come up empty.  Do service manuals and schematics
actually exist for a GE microwave oven JVM1650BH03?  If so where might I
acquire such material?
iiyama 22" crt monitor11 Apr 2007 20:06 GMT4
I have an old pro502 monitor it has served me well for several years
now, but recently the picture is too narrow about 50%, sometimes it is

I opened it up and blew lots of dust away, one capacitor seems far
amplified speakers11 Apr 2007 19:49 GMT19
Good Day,
I accidently wrecked my amplified speakers by reversing the polarity
from the battery.  It is a fairly inexpensive set from radio shack
with a sub woofer and two small "towers" . I still get a very quiet

Help Identifying a Plug/socket11 Apr 2007 11:38 GMT15
I'm hoping someone can help me identify (and thus hopefully find a
replacement for) a plug used inside an aged hi fi loudspeaker.
Specifically, it is the plug that attaches the signal cable to the
chassis of a Tannoy 15" Monitor Gold "dual concentric" driver
VCR won't turn on after brownout11 Apr 2007 04:19 GMT8
We experienced a brownout last week, during which we hurried around
the house and unplugged everything sensitive.
Afterward, everything came back up fine except for a Panasonic PV-
D4744S DVD/VCR combo.  It refuses to turn on.  I opened up the case to
Sanyo DS26050 TV stuck in demo mode11 Apr 2007 00:41 GMT3
My oldest son (18 and brain dead) somehow put our TV into demo mode.
All of the features and specifications of it constantly scroll from
the top to the bottom of the screen.  I cannot find how to get it out
of this mode.  I have seen dozens of posts about this problem where

I have a 5 years old RCA tv  that required a new picture tube just
after de warranty had expired and the price for the installation of a
