I tried to re-cap a tube receiver (amplifier + tuner), and now when I turn it
on it starts playing music for a few seconds after it warms up, then the music
fades out and and hum takes over.  I don't really know what I'm doing, and the
wiring inside looks like a mess of spaghetti ...

We have several of these monitors, and they are all performing very well

I don't want to fry my security monitor, but I want to hook up a 12V
4.5A rechargeable battery to it.  Since the monitor on the back says
"12V 3amp", would the monitor fry or would it just take what it needs
and be ok with this amperage?

Cuisinart TOB-165 Toaster Oven Repair Question?29 Apr 2007 20:50 GMT3
While having some electrical work done, my toaster oven blew out.
Looking inside, I found that the two parts that have burned up are the
line on the PCB that's marked as the "fuse" as well as the component
that sits between the two AC inputs in a spot labeled "ZNR".

cable as well as the usual dual RCA plugs and AC connector.
The unit does not work. Power does come on and speed button does change

I own a Fluke 6060A/AM (10 kHz to 520 MHz) synthesized signal
generator that appears to be a source of noise.  For example, if I set
it to 1 Mhz and tune an AM radio to this frequency, I hear a light
