My daughter has an older 20 inch Sony and when she watched TV the word
"TV" is on the screen ALL THE TIME and when she watches a DVD the word
" Video" is on the screen ALL THE TIME. She does not have the original
remote. Seems like these words would vanish after a few seconds but

I succeeded to repair my old Traynor 25B bass amp (which I asked and
received help for in this group a few months ago), however I now have
another problem with it.

I have a three year old 27 inch Toshiba TV.  Recently a series of about
10 lines tracks across the top of the screen when a "normal" picture is
present.   The only time that the lines disappear is when the broadcast
pictue is in 16:9 format.

I have an electronic scale that uses a 9v battery and it says "use alkaline
batteries only".  I prefer to use rechargeable NiMH batteries. How can the
product tell the difference (or can it) and what would be the problem, if
any, of using non-alkaline batteries in such a product.

I'm using my PSP to interface with the LFTV box. This portion of the
connection goes swimmingly, but the connection between the LFTV box and
my router is hindered for some reason. I've forwarded the port (5021)

After the customer connected a DVD player to the front panel jacks this
set displays a message on the screen to "disconnect AV jacks" .It will
not get to a menu screen for cable type, tuner etc. LG tech support
