This set tries three times to power up. You hear the little "chirp"
when you first plug it in. Attempting to power up, you can hear three
soft "thumps" in the speakers. The Hot is good. I pulled the HOT and
tried it and the green light now stays on . It seems to me I did this

I have a problem with a Sony KVC2983E.
When I start the set it takes 5 minutes or more before the picture
appears, normally this takes 30sec or so. All tips welcome

I dont even have any datasheets on those, a schematic would be good

I aquired one of these, and im not very familiar with this brand.
all the functions are ok, i have sound, but the raster has a bright blue
screen with heavy retrace. no picture.
the TV appears to be all digital except for the scan circuitry.
