A friend of mine is joining me at a benefit performance for a child
with a very serious medical condition in November.   At rehearsal he
told
me that his Polytone Minibrute is blowing fuses, and was using a little
CM11A module component ID05 Oct 2006 06:03 GMT2
I've got a CM11A computer interface which has a transistor that decided
it doesn't want to play any longer. The transistor is identified on the
board as Q2 and it looks like it might be a 2SD667 but I can't quite
make out the number for certain and not having a schematic doesn't ...

blown Rode NT1 phantom power mic05 Oct 2006 00:58 GMT8
Can anyone out there offer guidance.
It appears my microphone has blown. A few years ago I did some first
year electronics and would ideally like to spend very little money
repairing my microphone.
Philips tv dead05 Oct 2006 00:29 GMT7
Model nr is unreadable but someone told me it's a D110 chassis.
Old, must be about 12 years.
Set was dead but after replacing a few caps and lopt the green light comes
on but no picture, adjusting the lopt
SyncMaster 151s LCD monitor turns itself completely off after 20 minutes04 Oct 2006 23:14 GMT5
I have a powersupply inside a Samsung LCD monitor that turns itself off
without fail after 20 minutes.
All the Switchmode DC rail voltages such as 12V, 5V and 3.3volts all
completely disappear.
Control Circuit For Excercise machine04 Oct 2006 22:03 GMT3
The simple electronics on my old ProForm Air Stepper has failed.  The
electronics control a very small motor/drive gear which simply tightens a
belt on a flywheel.  Low power stuff.
There are 2 modes:  programmed and manual.  Programmed, which takes the user
Name for Jubilee clips in USA04 Oct 2006 20:26 GMT17
Returning to USA/UK tool terms etc
What is the name in the USA for what we call
a Jubilee clip in the UK, presumably named in
Queen Victoria's jubilee year of 1897.?
Service manual sources04 Oct 2006 19:21 GMT3
I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times but it's confusing
for someone like me, who is an electronics nut but not active in the repair
business.
Where in the heck is the best source for service manuals?
Mains transformer only outputting 2V instead of 22V04 Oct 2006 15:41 GMT24
I've got a power supply for a cordless drill that's supposed to output
22V 450mA but only gves 2V.  I've checked the (4) diodes and they're
OK.  There's a capacitor in there that I haven't checked.
What might be the most likely cause?
Purchase Digital Cable Box04 Oct 2006 13:51 GMT4
My cable provider (Cox) wants $10/month to rent a digital cable box.  Can I
purchase one outright to use, rather than rent one?
Sanyo DS27214 - Subbing the Power Supply?04 Oct 2006 01:37 GMT3
Does anyone have a schematic for this set, chassis 27214-00 ? The
switching power supply is fried, someones kid spilled Koolaid or something
inside it, and I'm thinking of attempting a last-ditch repair effort. I plan
to sub the power supply with that from a completely different ...
Sound Technology 1000A Stereo Generator problems03 Oct 2006 21:14 GMT3
Has anybody ever run into a problem with this unit, whereby the 19kHz pilot
level is intermittent? It doesn't seem to be a thermal problem, and I have
cleaned the switches and controls. I don't know if the phase adjustment pot
on the main board might have a problem.
HP DesignJet 2500CP error code 010021 A650224003 Oct 2006 21:04 GMT10
My PHB bought a DesignJet 2500CP on ebay a couple of years ago,
and an hour of searching HP's website and calling 800 numbers
resulted in pretty much nothing.
What's happening is, when we go to power up the plotter, it
