Recently got a sony PVM-1954Q that had some bad electrolytics in
it.
I recapped the A board, (132 caps, I won't be doing that anytime
soon again) fired it up and did the alignments according to the

About two years ago I had bought a Phillips color TV, but didn't
feelike paying for the extended warranty. Now, the sound comes on real

I have a 23-year old (try not to laugh) Technics SA-410 receiver.  It worked
fine earlier today, but I went to use it a 2nd time and I'm getting
absolutely no output out of either speakers or headphones.    Something
defitely failed within the unit.

My Thomson 28" television has failed to start up after coming back from

I have a 27" RCA about 5 years old. Under Menu|Channels you can
add/delete channels in the line-up. You can also add text labels that
display on screen.
The labeling is now "*FULL*" I can't add or delete labels.

This set has been focused (mechanically and electrically), all cooling
fluids replaced, lenses and mirror cleaned spotless, picture is still

noise (sound) from all CATV stations, from both the set's own
