| Princeton Monitor problems at lower resolutions | 27 Sep 2006 14:09 GMT | 2 |
I just inherited an 8 year old Princeton 21 inch crt monitor, model eo2010. At resolutions of 1024x768 and above, it works great. However, at 640x480 or 800x600, the left and right edges of the picture are compressed. The on-screen monitor controls don't fix the problem.

| Chip pin plating | 27 Sep 2006 08:43 GMT | 2 |
I repaired a PC motherboard that was damaged by something that dragged over the surface. A QFP's pins were bent sideways and shorted together. I bent them back with a dental pick and reflowed the solder, and the board works now.
