Hello, when we push the power button there is no response; nothing
lights up at all. My neighbor said if he remembered to just push the
button once it would all of a sudden come on by itself after a half
hour or so and everything would be fine.

Dell Sony Battery pack from 8200 Inspiron type 66Whr
System didn't like it, either slot. Won't charge it and flashes LEDs
strangely. Happy with other pack either slot.

I'm attempting to bring my Bulova model TR250 ultrasonic watchmaster
cleaner back into service.  I have found two rectifier diodes blown,
along with the circuit protection fuse. The wafer transducer is epoxied
to the the tank, and I am not sure how to go about testing for

Hi;
I don't recall the exact model right now, but it's got the digital
convergence. Set came in with serious errors mainly in the red
horizontal channel.

worked fine for ages, but then i plugged a mic jack plug in wrong hole and
all it does is make a fairly loud buzz now.All fuses are ok.

A friend of mine is trying to repair an active woofer of a speaker set, which
started to blow out the primary fuse suddenly. The problem would appear to be
in the torroidal transformer, because even when nothing is connected, the fuse
blows. We decided to be stupid and put in a 2A ...

I have a  GE microwave  oven that just stopped heating. I have checked
and found the problem to be in the high voltage section.  I found the
high voltage diode shorted and the high voltage capacitor going bad.

It's a Samsung TV-686 with a SCT12B board.
Good picture on the bottom half, retrace on the top, bright line in the
centre.

Have an elderly Proscan 32" TV with cable hookup, DVD and video
players. System has worked fine for many months. Now have multicolored
diagonal lines on channels 1-10. 11 and above are fine.
