I reset the clock on my VCR Sunday morning. When I turned off the VCR, it ejected the tape that was in the unit. Now it will not accept any tape. The VCR does nothing when a tape is inserted. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, i'm hoping this would be the right group to post in. I have two tv's (5 and 9 years old) with blurry pictures, they take a while to warm up and display a picture. The picture will get better the longer it's left on but decent clarity is impossible.

Anyone know how this works? Is there a sensor that recognizes the transparent bits at the beginning and the end of a VCR tape? I have two Sony VCRs that upon rewinding come to a crashing halt rather than a smooth stop.

My Dell 2000FP 20" TFT has some problem with the control circuits. It started out as a temperature-related problem - if the monitor had been switched on for say 30 mins and I switched it off and then on again, it would get stuck in its boot-sequence or lock in standby mode. Ok again

AV-27850, dead, repair vertical: LA 7832, 100 uf 35 volt cap, 75 volt zener, R 542 fusible resistor. Other caps check ok with cap checker. Set runs fine, but LA 7832 gets quite hot. Did I miss something?
