Quick question to those with electrical knowledge (not me).  I am very

Been having bad luck lately with lamps from MCM and the like.
Anyone know a good source for high quality bi-pin, fuse-lamps, screw-base,
wedge-base lamps, etc?
6v, 8v, 12v mainly.

My PS2 won't spin disks.  It starts to spin but stops after about 1/4
of a turn and theres nothin wrong with the laser eye.  Can anyone tell
me exactly what my problem is and how I might go abot fixin it?

I just got another LCD that doesn't work right..It is a Viewsonic VE500 and
I'm acutally using it to type this message, but sooner or later it will go

Morning, When we turn on the TV it is fine but then after a few min the

This is a Sony KV24WX1U (BE3D chassis?) tv, which goes off and displays two
flashs of the red standby led, when the teletext button on the remote is
pressed.  For a split second the screen shows text but it looks dropped with
a black band across the top. Also, I see the tv goes off ...

Does anybody know how to tell what kind of diode this is? I know it is a
zener diode, but thats about all I know..
