This JVC DR-MV1SU combination VHS/DVD burner has been locking up when trying
to burn a disk. The DVD burner itself looks like it came right out of a PC.
It's got the four pin power supply cable and a 40 pin IDE cable going to it.
To make a long story short, how likely is it that if ...

I need to get hold of a replacement PSU for a TFT screen.  The screen
requires 12v 2.7A 33w.
Will a 12v 5A supply work (is the 5A a *max* output) or do I need a
specific 2.7A one?

I got hold of this cheap ($100) Tek 485 that is working fine except for
three things: The variable volts/div pot on channel B doesn't pop up
smoothly, and when it does it doesn't turn at all; the lights on the

I have the CCD board including lens and motors from an old Sony
CCD-F350E Video 8 Handycam.
This may be a dumb question, but is it possible to use the composite
signal from this board. If yes, what voltage does the board require
