Text on television screen comes up blurry29 Apr 2006 04:51 GMT1
My television screen is clear when there is no text on the screen (e.g
subtitles, credits) but whenever something like the film credits come
up it goes all blurry (like a grey blur). What is the problem? It is a
standard television.

In a  HP NX9010  when I plug in the power the LCD lamp is ignited without I
push the power button.
After when I power on, the laptop work fine.
When I press the power button to shutdown,  the lcd lamp remain ignite and a

a friend of mine that lives behind the house has a set with this issue. it
was so intermittent, i never really started to look for the trouble, because
those problems are hard to chase down, and wasnt happening quick enough to
do anything.

I have a fault on a laptop motherboard:
After I plug in the connector the power supply protection stop the power.
I think the cause it's a bad connector but I desolder it and power the
motherboard with two cable directly but the problem remains the same.

My GF owns a Sony Network Walkman NW-E50 (MP3 player). I assumed that
all Sony products must use Sony's music software. But I was wrong as
the MP3 player contains a built-in File Manager. That means she could

Ok let me try this and see if any of you can help.
Sony G 70 projector.All was working fine. I replaced the green tube, with a
new Sony green tube.
All was ok for about 1 hour. Then the projector shut down with error 21,

This is an old philips tv 20gl1042 chassis GR1-AL without a/v input,
and i can not get any channel from 2 to 6. I have checked eeprom 2402
and it's associated transistor , checked bad caps near tda8305, cpu
tmp47c434. The tuner is UV935 and it is not available, so i can not try

I have a Sony DAV-SA30 DVD surround system.  It has been making a
ticking noise through the speakers so I thought I'd have a look inside..
I found that the power supply module, 1-687-086-15, is supplying
34.7volts on it's 27v output.

It had just a horizontal line, so i changed the vert ic and a resistor
0.68 ohm (open) and its diode (shorted) near flyback. Then i turn on
the tv and i had a normal picture for 2 seconds then horizontal line
again. Now when i turn on the tv i hear just flub-flub-flub-flub and

Folks, I need your help once again. I have a model #F20352SF RCA,
chassis #CTC176F2. Set was dead, eeprom found bad. Replaced eeprom
(supposedely preprogrammed), and set works, but video is scrambled.
After a close look, It looks like I accidently dislodged a surface

My last Mouser order resulted in almost $10 shipping charge for $4 worth of
components.  So I'm looking for options.  Is there any big vendor that uses
e.g. USPS for small orders?  I have ordered from Digi-Key, Allied, NEI etc in
the past but can't recall offhand what shipper they ...
