Hi. I am about to start digging for information on this, but I wonder
if anyone has run across it. It is an original series DX, not the
follow-up II (whatever it was). The description that I have is that no
matter which patch is selected, onboard, or from a cartridge, the

model PT-51HX41E / AP-820 chassis -- rear projection HD tv .. ok it has a
small issue when its cold .. when you start it up it has squiggly
transparent lines on the screen .. kind of like what you see on an
oscilliscope with an audio signal on it , if that makes sense ... but once

A friend has a 1950's Tannoy PA valve amplifier which works when first
turned on but the output steadily drops to zero after 20 minutes.
That's his description of the fault.  I have not tested the amp yet.
Thinking about it, I'm assuming it is a problem with a capacitor.

At a recent hamfest I purchased a HP 403 DB meter.On all ranges
the meter needle remains to full scale.The batteries are missing.
