This set has a SCC-S47B chassis, odd symptoms in that when powered up
there is no HV, however when turned off the HV spikes to several KV for
just a moment as the thing is turning off. No diagnostic codes are
displayed on the LED and I've looked pretty closely on the deflection

I'm having trouble getting my new remote to communicate with my Toshiba
DVD-VCR player.
I tried all the remote control codes listed on the instructions of the
new remote without success.

(1) I have installed PixelView TV Tuning Card and disabled BtCap,WDM
Aduio Capture (Sound, video and game controllers)( TelSignal Co., Ltd.)
on location
PCI Slot 4 (PCI bus 1, device 3, function 1)

I am designing a simple board in which i want to improve the cable
television quality by givng it the cable tv as a input and then
digtalize it process it so as to get rid of snow or other common
problems those hamper the picture quality and then recreate the analog

Hi all. The other week I gave the A channel of my scope a voltage spike
it didn't like and soooo I gotta fix it :rolleyes: Among other things
there is a source follower FET in the input stage right after the
attenuator. It has written on it "304" then underneath that, "E  5M".

Has anyone heard of similar problems to the following or have ideas of
how I can fix this? I've tried resetting the camera via the menu and
removing batteries but no luck. I would like to try DIY rather than
repair as I've heard these are quite expensive to fix:

I own a Casio model 555 (DBA 80) watch (the one with a phone dialer)
bought more than 10 years ago. It is still working, but it's case (or

Hello, This is a odd question but I have two new digital alarm clock
model: 3038 Green LED cheapos bought from wal-mart. Yesterday I se
both of them up; both appear to be working fine...but last night whil
slepping I heard a loud POP! and saw smoke puff out of one clock

My cousin has a Toshiba tp48c50 rear projection tv that has a geometry
problem with the red tube. The picture is good in the center but twards the
edges the red is bent in like the trapazoid adjustment needs to be adjusted.

I Just bought an fm transmitter and since i hate the stupid plug and
all the wires i hard wired it to the car. first is this safe? also my
power supply to the transmitter is always on even when the key is out.
and the red LED on the transmitter is always on. My main question is,

I have a Blaupunkt Honolulu CD player whose LED screen suddenly went very
dim a while back.  I removed the front panel, cleaned the contacts

The audio jack in my laptop (a sony vaio z1) died and I would like to

chassis #CTC176F2. After a close look, It looks like I accidently
dislodged a surface
mount resistor when I removed the bottom tuner shield for resoldering
