In trying to test the laser power supplies I mentioned in an earlier
post, I dug out my HV meter...it's a Heathkit, inherited from my great
grandpa.  It didn't appear to be funcioning, so I disassembled it...In
the probe end, I found 2 large resistors, constructed of some material

I dont have the model #s but these are last years silver cased combos
and the TV combos too .. all Panasonic .

I have a 32 inch Toshiba model CF32G50. The coax connector has worked it's
way loose inside the jack hole. I took some pictures of the area, and here

I am experimenting repairing a dead thinkpad x20. The machines power light
flicks momentarily when the dc jack is inserted or removed.
I accidentally shorted a couple of pins on this IC, and now the behaviour is
much different, with lights doing funny things.

I have opened an ordinary battery to get the carbon rod and the black
powdery stuff around it stained my drawer. I had some nicads in there

got a Tek 2215a to repair. At start, caps on +5V was dead, making a
direct link between +5 and ground.
now I can see lines or signals on crt but wit maximum intensity, which

I have a 2002 RCA P46924, chassis CTC195M26A.  Last fall it stopped
working and I had to replace the flybact and the HOT.  I finally got
around to doing it and now it looks great but it intermitently turns

Picture went out on TV that we LOVE  it is 17 years old but alway been

We have sound but just blank screen.  Was like poof its gone...  Help
