This Magnavox TP2783 C101, chassis # 27V505-00AA, has a shorted capacitor in
the flyback stage. It's C512 and located across the HOT, collector to
emitter. The markings on the cap are:

I have a RCA tv, model number 24V511T.  The picture tilts down and to

I own a relatively late model Panasonic VCR. Last night I went to play a
tape (the VCR had been sitting idle for a while) and the picture came up as
mostly snow with good sound. I knew immediately that the heads probably

In my years of swapping CRTs of any types I NEVER had this happen like
that, cracked projector CRTs face YES, have seen few caused by letting
coolant run out too low, CRACK!  But this one is FULL of coolant and
tube self-destructed rather unique way.
