I have a friend with an admirable ethos of old-fashioned thrift; she
buys high quality items and tries to extract maximum useful service
life out of them. The other day she brought me an Alpine CDA-7837 CD

I put a tape into the VCR and it plays as normal, but is showing no
images, just black and white lines you get if you play a blank tape.
There's no sound either.  I'm not sure why its doing this.  Does it
need cleaning or is it broken?

At our shop we have this 25B800 7562 in hotel mode.  Need to turn
hotel mode off.  Have two philips remotes, one master remote for hotel
but two of button (guest and other one DCM doesn't work on this tv,
but SETUP works but this only access to protected typical menu that

This is a relatively old VCR.  Paid $270 + taxes.  Got hit by
lightening, paid close to $100 to get it fixed.  And it is close to
junk now (maybe it is already).
Anyway, it plays very good pictures, but the sound is very noisy.  I

I have an image burned into my lense or lamp or somewhere on my unit.
It is casting an annoying blue ghost over overything.  I want to know
if replacing the lamp will fix it or if a more expensive trip to the
shop will be required.  Thanks!

I have a zenith vr4206hf I need help with the cassette carriage whomever
attempted to fix this before me never put the cassette tray gears back in
place but just put them in a baggie would you happen to know the correct way
the teeth on the gears are supposed to line up any help ...

I have a Sanyo HT32744 HDTV.  While tuned to my local CBS digital off the
air channel the audio volume gets very loud during commercials and anytime
music is playing,  it is normal volume during the regular program material.
It doesn't matter if the program is high definition or not ...

need to know replacement number  and source  for backlight bulbs for a
1994  Geo Metro AM,FM, Cassette radio
model number 30010113   .... I tried Radio shack 272-1092C,  but not
bright enough.

I had a kitchen fire on 10/20/2005 with " medium" smoke and soot
damage.  It burned my cabinets, but not all the way through, but there
were also plastic bowls that melted.
My question is... How does the smoke and soot affect my electronics

because after I repair the computer, I want to see if he /she is online.
the so-called spy is a resident program with an assigned ID so I know his
/her computer is OK ( up and running) and nothing else.
