I put a tape into the VCR and it plays as normal, but is showing no images, just black and white lines you get if you play a blank tape. There's no sound either. I'm not sure why its doing this. Does it need cleaning or is it broken?

This is a relatively old VCR. Paid $270 + taxes. Got hit by lightening, paid close to $100 to get it fixed. And it is close to junk now (maybe it is already). Anyway, it plays very good pictures, but the sound is very noisy. I

I have an image burned into my lense or lamp or somewhere on my unit. It is casting an annoying blue ghost over overything. I want to know if replacing the lamp will fix it or if a more expensive trip to the shop will be required. Thanks!

I had a kitchen fire on 10/20/2005 with " medium" smoke and soot damage. It burned my cabinets, but not all the way through, but there were also plastic bowls that melted. My question is... How does the smoke and soot affect my electronics

because after I repair the computer, I want to see if he /she is online. the so-called spy is a resident program with an assigned ID so I know his /her computer is OK ( up and running) and nothing else. no attack or hack whatsoever.
