am working on a fender passport p150 stereo mini pa system which fender
wont service because it is out of warranty. fender never intended to
fix this item cause it took me 2 hrs to take appart and all the
connectors are glued on. in takeing this appart i came accross a

I have a Sony KV-32FS320 which is about 2yrs old now. Of late I have
noticed a strange problem. Once in a while I will notice a flicker in
the whole picture. Now this "flicker" is not exactly noticable at all,
however I have noticed it a couple of times at different occassions. It

My handy cam (Hi8) has problem loading the tapes.  As soon as you load
the tape it will close and in about 5 seconds eject itself.  I have
verified all the mech parts they all look OK.  Any thoughts if anyone
else came across this problem?

A bulb blue-flashed failed in my lamp controlled by a
standard X-10 lamp module, the result being that now
the module when turned off only goes to half-brightness,
both by dimming and by commanding OFF via the remote. I

I  have  some old  tapes that  the  magnetic  side is seperating  from  the
clear  tape...any  way  to  freeze  or  heat  so  that  it  binds  back
togetherr  to  copy  them.....?   thanks

Resently my W900 stopped working. It was just fine one night
so i turned it off before bed. In the morning when i got up and
turned it on, it no longer worked.

Dose anyone know how to access the service area of the toshiba 27AF61
unit? The screen has turned green and i'm told it can be repaired , but
i don't know how to get into the service program...I tried holding the

I am having a problem with this television. When i try to turn it on
it makes a  buzzing noise and nothing happens.  Now it is not even

Is it possible to replace just the mechanicals of a VCR? On my RCA
VR712HF, it requires only six screws and one small ribbon cable to
remove the entire tape transport system. Where can I buy this assembly?

I need to solder couple of surface mount capcitors,but the tip is not
sharp enough.
Is there any way to do it without buying expensive tools ? Can i tie a
needle  to the gun?

After installing a new Starmate Satellite receiver and antenna, I noticed
that when I turned it on first thing in the morning when it was cold (~30F),
"Acquiring Signal" was on the screen for up to 3 minutes before there was
reception. For the rest of the day, there was no problem ...

Hi all. My Fujitsu MHS2060AT 2.5" HDD has malfunctioned. It is no
longer visible in BIOS. I'm fairly certain the problem is electronic

When you take the cover off there are three adjustable screws behind
the head ( in what appears to be a RF booster?) and three adjustable
screws below the head under the tape deck.  I have played with all of
them and they do not appear to make any difference to the picture...
