I have a Samsung TXN 2020 and it seems to be not degausing.  All the

replacement?

My old SONY Video 8 CCD-TR75E seems to be at the end of its life, after all, it gave me 15 years of wonderful movies and colors!
However, if possible, I'd like to repair it, purely because I am nostalgic!

switch on, it wouldn't fire up, and I could hear funny noises which I
Zenith Digital TV Question28 Feb 2006 12:51 GMT8
I'm attempting to fix an old Zenith model SG2795BG. This has an intermittent

Starting "Position" of a CD Rom Disk28 Feb 2006 02:41 GMT5
I have been told that a data cd (also audio cd) is
first "read" from the middle track. Another person told me
that it is first "read" from the inside track.  I always thought
it was first read from the outside (near the edge) track.
Magnetized meter28 Feb 2006 02:19 GMT22
I have a battery tester meter (Mallory) that came from a retail store. The
meter is magnetized and now sits center scale, instead of over to the left.
Any solutions to return it to it's normal state.  I tried reverse polarity-
it goes to the left, but then returns to center.

Philips 27RF70 problem28 Feb 2006 00:49 GMT2
When turning it on the set just clicks and the red power indicator light

hours, the set will come on normally.  Before I take it ...
Sansui Receiver- Noise at shutdown27 Feb 2006 23:25 GMT5
I have a Sansui R-7 receiver which works fine except that when the power is
turned off there is usually a fairly loud click from the speakers.  Does not
seem to be loud enough to harm the speakers, but certainly annoying, and not
at all what I would consider normal.
