You know those tiny inserts in timers and clocks that crumble after time.
They are the plastic pinion gear that fits into the magnetic rotor of
the common Intermatic timing motors.
Does anyone have a source for just these pieces?  I have several

Hi group,
can anyone tell me how to reset the memory on the above television. The
one i have is power cycling when in wide screen mode. I can remedy this
situation if WS it is set on a channel you can switch from quickly on

the picture or sound will not come on when the on button is pushed. A red
blinking light comes on near the on button. If I hit the side of the tv
hard some times it will work. Or if I leave it on for a while,10 min. it
will come on. Please help. christine

I have a Panasonic PV-V4522 VCR.  When playing factory recorded tapes
every 8 to 9 seconds the picture does a verticle roll (2 to 3 rolls)
other than that the picture is good.

I just found 8 rechargeable alkaline D cells at the dump. I would like
to try to charge them but am not sure what the correct way to do this
is. Can i  follow the same procedure i usually use for nicads that is
10 percent of the rate for about 16 hours? Thanks, Lenny.

Hi, one of my old scopes stopped working yesterday. I kinda like this
unit so I'd like to fix it. Last time it broke down, one new
electrolyte cured the problem and it has been in service for me for

I got this sony pvm-8220 from a thrift shop and it was only black and
white when setup.   There are two set of RGB adjustments in the back
that is easily accessible.  But any adjustments results in either a
red, blue or green picture.  (red and white, or blue and white and

I have a 2-year old Hitachi Progressive-Scan DVD player with problems.
Some discs (it seems to be worse with dirty or scratched ones) it won't
play at all- it can't find the disc.  Others, it starts getting jerky

i have a second hand tv that produces sounds only after maybe more or
less 1 hour. Picture was fine but the only prob is that sounds does not
come on instantly.I tapped the tv chassis but nothing change. i checked

At work, there was an old computer monitor kicking around without its
casing.  It got shoved and moved around until the CRT socket board hit
the table the wrong way and broke off the end of the tube.  All of the

They are Delta 335 watt supplies that come from IBM PS/2 Servers. They are
