Probably an easy question.  I have a UPS which suffered battery leakage.  The
resulting leakage seems to be "crystallization" underneath the batteries (which

transistors were damaged (NEC 2SD188A and a NEC 2SB545A).
I can buy these transistors but model 2SD188 is without "A" and 2SB545

I've got a Sharp mulitformat VCR (pal, secam, NTSC) that seems to want to only
playback in black & white.  I'm sure I had it playing back in color before, but
as I don't have the manual for the machine I don't know if this is a setting I
can't find yet (hopefully) or something ...
