RCA CTC 177BH2, model 27GT613,  excessive width and apparent pincushion problem27 Jul 2005 20:05 GMT6
According to the customer this set went dead. I powered it up and it

There is also what looks like a slight pincushion problem or a bending

Cleaning blue-green crud from battery area of scanner27 Jul 2005 17:05 GMT11
I have a portable scanner, Regency HX 1500, that I haven't used for quite a while.
There is a lot of powdery blue-green stuff that covers the metal battery
connectors/tabs.  I've cleaned it off with q-tips dipped in alcohol, but it always comes
back.  I'm storing this scanner ...
Baby Oil in a Nintendo Game cube27 Jul 2005 16:48 GMT5
Hopefully someone here can give me some insight.  My two-year old
poured a significant amount of baby oil in my six-year old's gamecube.
I am presently draining it.  Is it toast?  Would it present a fire
hazard if I tried to plug it up?

Schematics for Harman-Kardon Festival 2 (1968?)27 Jul 2005 14:37 GMT1
I'd like to repair this compact stereo. The turntable works - so all
the audio section is OK - but not the tuner and the cassette unit. I
have already downloaded the owner's manual from the HK site. I have
asked them for the schematics, but no answer.
Sampo AlphaScan511 Problem27 Jul 2005 14:14 GMT1
Hi! Got a Sampo 15" monitor with a weird problem. The pictures on the
link below describes the image problem. This is the farthest that I can
correct with controls in front. Resetting it to the default factory
setting just makes the image more unbearable. Brightness, Contrast,

suppiers don't know! Rono.

DVD Won't Play through VCR27 Jul 2005 05:02 GMT12
I recently bought a cheap DVD player, and was trying to use it through a
VCR, to allow it to play on an older TV with no A/V jacks. It comes through

vertical sync every few seconds. Works fine when ...
