I picked up this Sears model 917.387440 6.25hp push lawnmower at a yard
sale for 5 bucks and someone had attempted to do some carb work on it
which failed miserably by looking at it.  The gas line is cracked and
the jet needle was missing.  Easy enough to get those parts at the

I have 7 year old 5 inch GE Color Tv set.Model #05GP008.  When I turn
it on in the a.m. , the picture is blurry and un-viewable.   However,
after approx 20 minutes the picture improves and is viewable.
Any suggestions on what I might do to return to normal operation?

I returned a Friedrich 40 pint electronic dehumidifier because it had the
tendency to cycle too much.  I got a 2nd Friedrich unit (same model) and it
has the same issue.  Like the Kenmore and Goldstar units, this is made in
China by LG electronics.  This 40 pint electronic unit ...

I Tshot it for the usual convergence job, had the usual bow which is
characteristic for this failure in sets that use convergence for T/B
pin correction.

I am repairing a Simpson model 1699 precision milliohm meter and found one
of these batteries in it. There was also a standard 9 Volt Battery which
leads me to believe the unit is 20-30 years old.

I have A Mitsubishi TV Model CS26201.  It shuts off after about 5-10
minutes.  If I unplug it and plug it in again, it turns on for another
5 to 10 minutes then shuts down again.  It will not turn back on if I
just push power.  I have to unplug it and count to ten.  What might
