I know I've asked this question before, but I'd still like some opinions from
older techs who have inhaled solder fumes over their lifetime as I have. I may
be wrong and it's just old age (I've never been 60 before... what's normal?) but
my symptoms seem to point to overall nerve ...

I have a ADVENT Q2035 TV. It was working pretty well. But I cannot eve
turn it on today. The power indicator is in off status. Anybody happene
to encounter this problem before. How can I fix it?

A friend of mine out in AZ called me tonight looking for a CRT to replace
the one in his Sony KV-32S25. He doesn't want to put a lot of $$ into this
set as it will be used in his kids' room. So a liquidator or service shop
that's got one that they're stuck with from a cancelled ...

thanks to a nearby lightning strike, my Akai CFT2791 tv lost
a diode and a fd fuse which eliminated all sound.
i have not been able to cross match the diode which has the
markings K0228 F10U20S. maybe this is a foreign component.

Ive got a grundig ST520 tv with the teletext installed, and after a trip
home with the new tv (standing upright) theres green in the lower corners

I just got an isolation transformer for restoration of my 1950's RCA Victor
