Someone's sprayed WD 40 on a mobile phone and now it works, but does
not pick up any sound.
Its an older Nokia. Any clues on how to fix this appreciated.

This RCA CTC203AD4 chassis took a power surge that buldged the input
filter cap and blew the fuse. Replacing both brought the set up again
but there is no picture. I cranked up G2 and can make out a faint image
with OSD. There is video on U12101 pin 42 but the CRT cathodes are up ...

I have two digital cameras that use 4-AA batteries.
A Fuji 2400 Zoom and an Olympus D510.
The Fuji has trouble getting started.  If it tries to

A customer called asking how to switch his TV to the VIDEO mode to
watch a DVD movie. He lost his original remote. If I remember
correctly, this chassis can only be switched to VIDEO by the original
remote. Has anyone tried doing so successfully using the front buttons

Just turned on the moniter and instead of the whoom sound of the tube coming
up I got a chirping sound and no picture. This is a monivision 30 in crt
about 2-3 years old. Am I screwed or does it sound like something either I
or a repairman can do?

printer and found the exit roller to be still in good shape -- now i
have to replace same in a personal laserwriter ntr yet i've misplaced
the instructions.  which screws do i need to take off?

I was recently given a 2001 Toshiba projection tv, model TP48D51.  The
previous owner told me it needed to be converged.  Actually, the blue
horizontal is what needs to be converged.  I'm wondering if this is a
relatively simple repair or a repair that needs to be done by

This TV stopped working and now when you try to switch it on all you get is
a blinking orange LED. it is blinking constantly, no noises from TV and no
picture or sound.

   I do quite a bit of tv repairs. Customer bought in above amp and
said it went dead during an electrical storm.
