 I have an intermittent green color problem with a
sony GDM20E01 monitor.  And, I am pretty sure it is
one of the three video amplifiers (TDA6101Q) that
is the problem.  This is a nine pin IC.  Any

i have a CT 20R11S tv that dead.  i lost electricity during a lightning
storm, after i got back power tv would not turn on. there is no sound
or anything when power button is pressed. i opened tv and check fuses
and they are ok. where do i start troubleshooting?

I have a 3 year old Gateway computer with monitor and for the past few
weeks at various times the monitor screen shrinks to where I can not
see the toolbar. It is all black on the bottom and about an inch above
there is a translucent 3D 1 inch wide bar that goes across the screen.

My stereo receiver (a Sony STR-AV780) has a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD)
which goes dim intermittently.  I have replaced some electrolytic capacitors
already which has helped but there is another one I'd like change.

I think I got the model right A90F the problem is, when its on it seems to
work. but when its hooked to a computer and shows the computer's output it

I have the above system and when Im playing CDs, at a reasonable
volume, after a few minutes of completely normal play, the output
suddenly goes dead!! When I switch it off and on again it works fine
but then the samething happens. Does anyone know what the problem is?

A bit tricky refrigerator problem.  Unit is 12 years old Sears (made by GE)
top freezer.  Symptoms are that it starts and cools for a while, but stops
and does not restart.  Compressor quite hot - can hold finger on it  for 4
sec.  All fans are running.  Coils clean.
