I recently bought a Panasonic pvl-354 camcorder on Ebay from a guy who said
it was working fine but needed a charger.It came with a battery but it was
dead.I tried it with just a 6 volt dc adapter and all it does is show a
white light in the viewfinder and it makes a clicking sound ...

Monitor picture too wide and bent on the sides, you can push the buttons
and see the adjuster
slide but it has no effect.
Any suggestions on what commonly fails?

I have a Mitsubishi 28 Inch Tv that has worked well for a few years,
however recently some ringing on the sharp edges of images has occured
and is getting slowly worse, is this a common fault? can anybody
diagnose this please! its driving me mad

I have a 2 year old Sharp widescreen tv (Model 28JW73H). It has
performed faultlessly and has a great picture.  Just recently the

Hi all,  I have a 1998 Sony kv20v80 in shutdown with 2 blinks on the
standby led.  I think that means the PS section area.  I am working off
of a Sam's #4134 schematic.
Measured the 115v,  12v, and standby 5v sources and these are ok.  The

everything works fine on the Camera except there is a slight whine when
recording that the camera picks up and makes the recorded video sound lousy.

My brother has reported to me that his Lite On LVW-5005 DVD
recorder/player will not make it past the "Welcome Screen" when
powered up.  He's tried unplugging it and plugging it back in,
then powering it up, but it still freezes at the 'welcome screen'.

I have been given Magnavox 20MS3442/17 TV which had vertical deflection
problem - top half of the screen was squashed and retrace lines on the
top of the screen. The unit is about 9 month old, only parts warranty,
so it will be more than $100 to repair...

I just bought a new tv and am noticing that it the images are tilting
sightly to the right.  It's really starting to bug me!  Is there an
easy way to fix this (like you can on a computer monitor)?  I really
don't wanna take it to a repair shop!

I am looking at a two radio RS232 modem, made by Repco Inc.
This one has RS232 in and out, and transmits and recieves in the 450
MHZ range.

 Got a Pioneer car amp in with several of these blown, but no supplier can
find them for me. My guess is they have been discontinued by the
manufacturer, like many replacement parts, to prevent them from being
serviced. Anyone know where I could find some of these?

I knock off a capacitor from a computer motherboard. And i lose the
capacitor. I am sure that it is a capacitor since it is marked as C256
The capacitor is very small, it is smaller than an ant.It has no
marking and only a single color stripe at the middle.

Are the voltage and resistance values "in-circuit" measurements? Should
the tv be off and unplugged? What if the actual voltage measurements
don't match those quoted in the photofact - Is the component bad?

How would I wire this rectifier to 110VAC? I am replacing a failed variable
speed circuit board that generated 100VDC to a PM motor. I do not need the
variable control.

( cga, ega , etc)
Like looking for rc combination.
