Three of the feet on the bottom end of my HP scope broke off.  I'm amazed at
how brittle they are.  It isn't exactly bakelite maybe, because it feels

I got from the scrap an old b/w set/monitor and another small color set that

This set has way too much history. Another shop had it and fixed the PS

I while back I reported my roughly 10 year old Sony CD player would
not read some CD's, then none of them.  Here's the outcome:
I opened it up and examined the top (only) of the laser lens assembly.
It appeared to servo perfectly in both focus and tracking.  The lens
