does anyone know where I can get used or refurbished TV parts, particularly
for projection tvs.

Hi All, all input will be greatly appreciated.
Symptoms:
1. Tray will not eject if its empty. Works fine if there is a CD
present.

I have a 8 year old Panasonic 31" or 32" CT31SF10R. It was working great
until 4
weeks ago.
Several times a week, the picture goes black and compresses

Hope to find out anyone who can help and here is the question : I looked
into the "service mode" menu of an Hitachi tv really not changing anything.
Now every time I switch the tv on, the "Menu" is displayed even if no key
has been depressed.

I was able to figure out why my Laserjet doesn't work. Apparently a
component from inside the fuser is broken. Here are some pictures of the

I have some lamps out in the front panel of my marantz 2250 reciever -
I got an led number and source from a post but I'm not sure how to get
at the lamps - it looks like the front panel comes off by 4 hex-heads
on the front - anyone done this before I start tinkering ?

Folks, I need to supplement my lab with a scope that has a delayed timebase and a
gate output for the delayed timebase. It would be a nice bonus if it had GPIB -
especially if the delayed sweep could be manipulated remotely. (Don't know if any
ever had that feature.)

   I was troubleshooting a problem with my PTV which I thought was in the
deflection circuit somewhere but after trying to use a different component
of my home theater system I'm thinking the problem is in a different area.
The problem I'm having is that when I'm watching cable ...

up in your newsreaders ? Should I keep doing it that way or should I do

Does anyone know the correct name for insulating electrical tape.  I'm
looking for the kind you see on electronics like laptops and mp3
players, its a yellowish tinted almost plastic like tape.  All I have
been able to find is the regular black kind.

JVC AV-32WFR1EKS has got a fault.
I do not know the correct technical term, it might be "no luminance". There
is a very dark picture with only colour outlines visable. Even the
technicians setup menu is invisable/unreadable.

What is the test to see if a cable TV jack is suppling a good signal, after
reconnecting my TV the picture quaility seems poor. Does adding a 2 way
splitter affect the signal?       Thanks

  I haven't been on this forum for ages. I used to be a regular.
Oh well. I closed my TV Repair Business after almost 30 yrs and now repair
and upgrade computers from my home.

Got a cell phone service/security question.
I lost my cell phone Sat.  Sun, I suspended the service and reported the
loss.  The cs rep I talked to said no activity had taken place through my
number during the window from when I lost the phone 'til when I reported it.
