problems, & no actual repair tricks!

Anyone have a schematic for a bearcat bc210-1? The dash one is important,
very different than the bc210.

I recently purchased a 6 volt wind generator and would like to upgrade
to 12 volts for charging RV battery at remote locations.
Question: Would a step-up switcher regulator do the trick?

Yesterday I turned on the tv and there was no sound at all. I tried
connecting directly and through a receiver no luck both ways.
