I have an Epson projector that runs for about half an hour then shuts
down.  The fans on the rear and bottom seem to be doing fine but there
is  quite a bit of fan noise coming from the middle before the lamp is
lite ot the other fans start to spin.  Does anyone have, or can point

I have a Xerox 5030 photocopier which has stopped working.
The display panel hasn't worked for over a year, it just got fainter and
fainter.
Now, when you turn the machine on, it powers up and goes into warm up mode

Our office has an Achiever paper shredder (model 00485) that
doesn't want to shred. When you flip the switch it shows
that it has power, but it won't shred.
Any ideas on what to check or do about this? Thanks.

I have a problem with this Sony 35" Dual PIP/Trinitron TV and I need to
decide if I should put the expense to repair or a get a new TV.
Problem started within the first year 2002 where the video would just go

I recently bought an inexpensive Magnavox TV. After two months of use,
the sound has begun to misbehave -- it somtimes fluctuates erratically
in volume. Is this something that I could get fixed under the Circuit
City warranty? Thanks for your consideration.

This is a customer's TV. The first time that it was repaired I replaced
Q801, IC801, D824 & the main AC fuse. Now 90 days later all of these
parts & more have shorted or opened (Q801 is very burned & fried). Have
there been any manufacturer's modifications on these models? Why did

The monitor that I have has a 15 pronged male plug that plugs into my
computer. Several of the prongs are badly bent, precluding plugging in
the monitor. Any suggestions for repair, and if not, are there

Hi-  Does anyone know approximately how many songs an MP3 player with
64MB of internal memory can hold, assuming the average song is about 5
minutes long ?  I know there are players with much more memory these

A few years ago I needed a 6-foot S-Video cable.  I had to choose
between two RCA cables--a $10 cheap cable with no features or an
"Ultimate" cable with 24-karat gold plated connectors, copper spiral
shielding, precision dielectic insulation, oxygen-free conductors, etc.

I don't know much about electronics. I have a kenwood ka-5500 amp
which has a problem with the tone on/defeat button. The speakers
crackle when i press it and i have to spend time messing with it to

The switch on my Kenmore vac failed.  It appears that a replacement from
Sears would cost more than $20.
A replacement switch must have the right dimensions for the body and
terminals.  Is there now an online retailer with a wide selection of
